Rainbow Children’s Home, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Kelly Henderson to our staff. Kelly will serve as the coordinator for the new mentoring program offered to residents. Kelly recently relocated to Dahlonega, Georgia from Florida with her family. She has four children and loves kids. This love drove Kelly to be a teacher, which she has been doing for the past seven years. She received an Associates of Science Degree from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, FL in 1992 and a Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Science from Lynn University in Boca Raton, FL in 2002. Her teaching certificates include Early Childhood Development and Special Education, and she is a Certified Foster Parent. She created an Expressive Art Class, which was an in-school program for kids in need. “Working with children is my passion. For all the things that I do to help them, changing one child’s life gives me satisfaction and makes me feel like I am making a difference.” ![]() Volunteer Mentors from the community will work one-on-one with residents in the following areas.
