Our Current Challenge . . .Rainbow has reached its limit for growth and service delivery at its current location. Staff and eight girls occupy 1,350 square feet of space. This forces eight children to share homework space on one dining room table. The lack of space also does not allow for much needed privacy in general. All of this coupled with the increasing number of abused and neglected girls in the community makes for an unsatisfactory situation.
In addition to space constraints, an even more serious issue is that the current small residence is showing its’ age and requires constant repairs and maintenance. It is in a physical state that cannot be properly corrected or maintained, and prudently, means putting money into a home that isn’t sufficient to meet the needs of those served. The only option is to build a new home for the children.
